TatraShare was developed at Hack Košice 2026 as a platform for simplifying shared financial management in groups. The goal was to eliminate friction in handling group expenses, savings, and real-time settlements through a unified and intelligent system.
The application enables users to split expenses, manage pooled funds, and create shared savings goals, all within a mobile interface. Virtual payment cards integrated with Apple Pay and Google Pay allow for immediate and seamless transaction settlement, removing the need for manual reconciliation.
The platform incorporates AI-driven features such as receipt parsing, automated transaction categorization, and contextual financial assistance, helping users better understand and manage their financial activity.
Built using React Native and a scalable backend powered by MongoDB Atlas, the system leverages modern authentication through Auth0 and explores integration with PSD2 APIs and blockchain (Solana) for secure and flexible financial interactions.
TatraShare demonstrates how machine learning and modern fintech infrastructure can be combined to deliver a fast, intuitive, and intelligent shared finance experience.
